NANO-CERAMIC MAINTENANCE PACKAGE

Detailed cleaning
of the exterior of your vehicle

Yearly maintenance for vehicles protected with a nano-ceramic coating.
Can also be done on vehicle without a nano-ceramic coating

Description of included services in the package

Deep cleaning of the wheels, tires and wheel wells A deep cleaning of the wheels will be done to remove as much dirt and brake dust as possible. Tires are scrubbed to remove all the browning caused by anti-ozonants. Wheel wells will be power washed and scrubbed to remove as much dirt as possible without removing the wheels. The result is a wheel that looks like new.

Deep cleaning and degreasing of the door jambs and trunk jamb. One of the most neglected part of the vehicle during regular cleaning, the door jambs and especially the trunk jamb are serious eye sore on most vehicles. We spend a lot of time making these areas look as good as new by removing the accumulated dirt and grime.

Pre-wash We perform a foam bath on the entire vehicle to lift the dirt from the surface before we touch the paint. This prevents micro-scratching that is common during the wash process. This step makes the wash much safer for your paint.

Undercarriage pressure cleaning We pressure wash the entire undercarriage of the vehicle to remove accumulated dirt, salt and calcium that can cause rust over time.

Pressure washing Once the foam bath has lifted the dirt, we perform a pressure wash of the vehicle to remove as must dirt from the paint before we even touch the vehicle. This step ensure that the wash will be as safe is possible for the paint.

Datailed wash of the exterior Every part of the exterior of the vehicle will be detailed washed including the grills, pannel gaps, nook and crannies, gas cap compartent, wiper blades and so on. Our goal is to leave the vehicle perfectly clean.

Chemical decontamination of the paint 6 Steps of chemical decontamination will be done to remove all contaminants that are not removed during the wash process:

- Road film (Oil and other fluids that sit on the road and are sprayed on your vehicle when you drive in the rain. These bind to the paint and are not removed by regular car soaps).

- Iron particles (mostly made of break dust but can also contain industial fall outs from railroads and airplanes). These microscopic iron shards imbed themselves in the paint and reduce the lifespan of the clear coat on your vehicle is not removed. We use a product that safelly oxidize them so they can be removed without damaging the paint.

- Tar (Coming mostly from road work, tar shows as small black dots on the paint and wheels). We use a product that is designed to safelly melt and disolve the tar on paint of the vehicle.

- Tree sap (Sap shows as small semi-transparent dots on the horizontal surfaces of the vehicle. It is important to remove sap as soon as possible. If allowed to dry and harden, it will etch the paint and cause permanent damage). The package includes decontamination for a normal amount of sap (about 10 drops). If your vehicle is covered with sap, a supplement will be charged based on the time it takes to remove it. Also, if sap was allowed to harden, the removal might cause minor scratching on the paint and expose etched paint under the sap drops. In this case, paint correction and polishing will be required to fix the issue. In some extreme cases, not all the damage can be removed, it depends on the amount of time the sap was allowed to sit on the paint.

- Water spots (they are the result of water that was allowed to dry on the paint leaving behind a small amount of minerals that shows as a white spot). If they are recent, the chemical we use should be able to remove them all.. If they have been allowed to sit on the paint for a long time, additional fees will be charged to remove them. With enough time, they will start etching into the paint and can cause permanent damage. In some cases we can remove them using mechanical decontamination using a clay bar. In other situations a paint correction must be done to remove them and remove the etching. In the worst cases, they can go through the clear coat and expose the base coat, primer or even metal pannel underneath.

- Insect bodies and bird droppings (We use dedicated products to soften insect bodies and bird droppings so that we don't have to scrub the paint to remove them. This prevents scratching that is very common when using bug sponges). As with other contaminants, bug bodies and bird droppings are acidic and can destroy the paint if left in place for a long time. If damage is present after the removal, we can try to fix it for a supplement based on the time it takes.

Each step of decontamination is followed by a pressure washing to remove all the products used from the vehicle.

Tire dressing We apply a dressing on the tires to enhance the shine and depth of black rubber. This product will protect the tire for a few weeks, preventing browning that is caused by unprotected rubber being exposed to oxygen. For a more durable solution we also offer a nano-ceramic tire coating that lasts about a year on the tires (see options bellow).

Application of a nano-ceramic sealant on the paint, wheels, headlights and plastic mouldings We complete the work by hand drying the vehicle and applying a nano-ceramic sealant that is compatible with the nano-ceramic coating and add a sacrificial, second layer of protection.

If your vehicle is not protected by a nano-ceramic coating, the sealant will act as an advanced form of wax and protect the vehicle for up to one year.
